Clinton Business Group pays tribute to Clinton Landmark
On Thursday morning October 1, 2009 a flag raising ceremony took place in Clinton at the flagpole adjacent to the Clinton House.
The Clinton Business Group (CBG), an organization of 40 local businesspeople serving our community, has maintained this Clinton town landmark for the last four years. Under the direction of CBG member Tony Catanzaro the area was recently refurbished with new flowers, plants, bedding stone and a new flag, donated by CBG member Debbie Rittelman in memory of her husband Bob, a passed CBG member, who had served in Special Forces in Vietnam.
The CBG, along with the town officials, agreed to give a name to this area which serves as a gateway to the town of Clinton and it will now be known as "Patriots Point".
