Mark W. Yaros' primary practice is in the areas of estate planning and administration and elder law (including Medicaid planning). Mark works with clients in determining their needs and will then draft the appropriate documents to assist the client in meeting these needs and to minimize any federal or state estate or inheritance taxes. The typical documents include a power of attorney, living will and medical decision power of attorney and last will and testament. The documents may also include revocable or irrevocable trusts.
For estate administration clients, Mark will assist the family with the estate administration process from initial probate to the final distribution of assets as well as the preparation of prepare the necessary federal and state estate and inheritance tax returns.
Mark has extensive experience with asset protection for elderly clients. Specifically, the representation involves Medicaid and long-term care planning for elderly individuals to enable them to preserve their assets and to maximize any government benefits available to the client.
Mr. Yaros is admitted to practice in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Hunterdon County Bar Association. Mr. Yaros is also a volunteer with the United Way of Hunterdon County.
