Mark is an attorney in private practice who specializes in estate planning and administration and elder care. Mark works with clients to determine their needs and then drafts the appropriate documents to aid the client in meeting their needs while minimizing the client's federal or state estate or inheritance tax burdens. Typically, these documents include living wills, powers of attorney and last wills and testament. Also, common are both revocable and irrevocable trusts. For estate Administration clients, Mark assists families with the estate administration process from initial probate to the final distribution of assets as well as the preparation of the necessary federal and state estate and inheritance tax returns. Mark also has extensive experience with asset protection for elderly clients. Specifically, the representation involves Medicaid and long-term care planning for elderly individuals to enable them to preserve their assets and to maximize benefits available to the client.
